Experience Profile: Cara joined Phillips Architecture in October of 1996 as a project designer. Over the next two years, her project load began to grow to the point where she needed an additional resource. In May of 1999, Cara started her own team. Since then, she has been gradually growing her team to what it is today. Over the last three years, Cara and her team have gained on the job experience with architectural projects in the office. They have created strong, lasting relationships with their clients by providing value-added services with personalized attention. Cara continues to demonstrate her commitment to the growth and prosperity of the firm and in December of 2002 was named the first principal of the firm. Over the next three years Cara's role for the firm began to grow and she was named the Chief Operating Officer of the firm in 2005.
